My two whippets, Kitt (male blue brindle) and Winnie (female white part brindle) are just over two years old. Brother and sister, I had Kitt at twelve weeks and he was joined by his sister from the breeder 7 months later.
They're both such a joy to have, Winnie is curled up next to me on the sofa as I type and Kitt is sat the other end watching me.
They love their walks and occasionally, when there are no other dogs around (or squirrels!) are let off to have a run around. They've made a friend, another whippet, and love to run around with him too.
Kitt is very sociable and wants to say hello to everyone and every other dog. Winnie is a little shy and doesn't like being left by herself. She's never been by herself having shared a large kennel with her sisters before I had her. Kitt though isn't bothered about such things and will happily bury himself under some fleecy blankets and go to sleep.
They're both very popular with strangers and other dog owners we meet, especially Kitt as he's so handsome even with his big ears!

This is Devo at age 10 months.
She's now a grand lady of 14 years and still going very strongly, just a bit gray in the muzzle.
Her main activities are running like wild for 15 minutes a day, then sleeping and lap-smooching.

Our special person Annie took some new photos of us today because when she abandoned us at the dog prison, oops I meant to say Kennels, and went off to The Whippet Nationals in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, she spent vast amounts of money on Whippet stuff.
She bought a vest and a jacket, I mean think of the bones she could have bought us, really....
Anyway she took the photos so as our friend Aunty Sue can make her some clever sew on patches with our pictures embroidered on them...

My whippet in this picture has an innocent look as if to say:
"I wasn't digging in the garden!"

We have two whippets, Luna 6.5yrs and Loki 6yrs.
This is an amazing photo, they both actually stopped moving or hiding under a blanket long enough to have this photo taken.
