My whippet is 8 years old and had recently had diarrhoea at night when we are on holiday and being cared for by my parents. I think it's anxiety. Has anyone else had this problem before and how did you deal with it?
Our whippet has diarrhoea when we go to the dog park and for a longish walk. We put it down to excitement. In the dog park from the sheer joy of running as fast as possible and on longish walks from all the exciting sniffs. As these are the only time diarrhoea happens we do not worry. Our present whippet is 3 years old. We have had several whippets and have found them to have caste iron stomachs, which is just as well as they are thieves and do like a nice fallen over bucket.
