Magic is 7 months old but we have had him since he was just 9 weeks!
At first he was a little terror, pulling things off the airer, fishing things out of the bin, not giving us any sleep and he was far, far from toilet trained!! eww ..
We were starting to consider selling him but we started to see him change. He got better and better and now he is amazing!!
Magic LOVES to run and to jump over logs, fallen tree etc and to play with his toys.
He knows many tricks, some of them are just for fun but he knows sit, lay down, come etc and a few fun ones are jump, spin, weave and counting.
One funny thing that Magic does is that he has some funny dreams!! Sometimes he snorts, moves his legs like he is running and he even barks in his sleep!!
He still has a few quirks because he is still young but I love him to pieces!!!
Tony is just about 1.5 years old and is a wonderful comrade.
He loves to run around at the park and is exeptional when it comes to catching a frisbee.
He is very warm and loving and has mastered the art of resting on my couch!

Nacho and all of our whippets are our pets, best friends and last but not least, athletes.
We do oval racing here at Shadow Run and keep the whippets fit by their daily free runs along side a quad over most of our whippet park.
Then we do box training, and practice the youngsters on the oval. For added fitness they have access to an in-ground heated pool to enjoy therapy time in the water. The whippets love it. As do we. They have a special diet that is mixed every day and a Vet Clinic that is excellent with extensive whippet knowledge.
Nacho is one of our best. Out of over 1000 whippets in the USA he acheived the #2 National spot in 2008. He has sired two litters that are either getting or working on their Oval Race Champion titles.
In our kennel we have Blocker, Solar, Ember, as well as Nacho that earned their titles in 2008 and OB, DJ earning their in 2009, Marco is half way to his title for this year and we have two of Nacho pups Mack and Johnny getting ready to start.
Our pups live in private homes in Seattle WA, Renton WA, Eugene OR, Benton City WA, Midway Tenn, Portland OR, and right here in Goldendale, WA.
We have been involved in whippets and their events (Lure Coursing, Conformation) for over 20 years.

I am almost two years now. I almost an adult, but, I am still adorable.
I like to stay in bed, and also play with my toys!
I am not interested in dogs,.. yet!!!
And I love to be in the backyard with all the consequences...

Have posted a picture of our 15 month old Whippet, Ripley.
He's our first Whippet and he's been with us for a year now.
We are lucky enough to live by the beach so he gets to run on the sand and jump through the water most days.
He's very outgoing and loves meeting everyone, he's even changed some people's opinions of Whippets being nervous types.
We are very happy that he came to live with us - he makes us laugh everyday and we love him very much. Even if he's a bit naughty sometimes!

This is my whippet called Lady. I got her interstate, she was flown up here on a large passenger plane, I picked her up from the airport.
She has flown further in a plane than I have. I would have to say she is my best friend. Nobody in the world is as happy to see me as she is every day when I get home from work and she won't let me swim in a pool, she has to jump in and swim out to me. She is the fastest dog on the beach where she goes to run.
She has the ability to know when I am eating something no matter where in the house I start to eat it, she just knows. She also has the ability to get whatever it is your eating, she just makes you feel like you gotta give her some.
She really likes any food I am eating, she even like mandarins and tomatoes. She hates having a bath, but loves getting toweled down. She hates the vacuumed cleaner and storms.
All in all, I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world, best 510 bucks ($210 for shipping) I ever spent :)

My puppy is just wonderful, she has been easy to train so far, a few accidents but that can be expected.
She loves her running and most of all her snuggles. She is fantastic with my 2 cats and little boy. She is the best dog I could have asked for. Well worth the money and time.

Stix & Callie are a couple of clown whippets that live in our house. They are inseparable when in the house.
When they are out playing in the yard or on the trail they are fierce competitors. They love to chase each other round & round. Callie usually will knock Stix down if he gets ahead of her.
They chortle at each other egging each other on. Stix is very gamey & catches the ball & frisbee mid air.
He is quite the athlete. Callie is a true hunter. She knows when any other animal is in the yard & will ask to go outside relentlessly.

Rodney joined my family a few weeks ago. A relative had gotten him as a gift their daughter and she just couldn't take care of him. So I brought this guy home to my 2 and 5 year old sons.
I have not seen anyone or anything keep up with my boys they are full of energy and like to play and run ALL the time. Well they have met their match.
Rodney which my 2 year old calls Rod Rod runs circles around my guys and still has time to torment my 11 year old Chihuahua before she even has time to look up. We are having lots of fun with him! He is a sweet boy and blends super well with my family.
