Connor is from the Geelong area so when it comes to Aussie Rules (a strange football game that does not appear to have any rules) the boys follow, or chase as they like to think of it, the Geelong Cats.
Most years they like to give a short opinion article on their blog, I tend to think they actually make a good deal more sense than the footy commentators most times!

After winning Best Exhibit in Group and qualifying for title, this whippet says 'done enough, I won't dance...not even for the photo' as she refuses to pose.

Tia from Yorkshire, northern England
This is my whippet Tia, KC name : Misty Fair Veslentine.
She is nearly 4 years old and has developed into a lovely young lady. She loves to chase squirrels when we take her to the park.
Her favourite spot is the sofa. On a night she jumps onto the sofa when we all go to bed but in the small hours she will sneak upstairs and bed hop all night and if you are in a deep sleep you will wake up and find her curled around your toes under the duvet !
We all love her and could not imagine life without her.

Tia is a friendly loveable whippet.
She is adored by her family and she gives lots of love back in return.
She has many friends who she plays with in the fields: a ridgeback called Rafique, a malamute called Meg and her best friend, a cocker spaniel called Oscar.

All about Angel
Angel is a special little whippet princess.
She's all white with one blue eye. Thankfully her sight and hearing are OK.
She nearly died from a Tiger snake bite when she was 6mths old. Two shots of antivenin and many prayers brought her back to us.
She knows that cars, the middle of the bed and cameras are all for her.
She has to know what I'm wearing each day. She knows which shoes = W.A.L.K. (we can't speak that word or my slippers get a whipping).
She talks at me when she wants attention.
She stands between the front seats of the car and watches where we are going...even on long trips at night.
She talks all the way to the beach when we turn down that road.
She is scared of cats, rabbits, birds and her own shadow.
She can hear the cheese packet being taken out of the fridge from outside.
She eats wild blackberries.
She is the boss of me...and I wouldn't have it any other way :-)

O'Brady is a name we picked due to breeders preference of an Irish name starting with a "B".
So since my ancestors are from the County Monaghan in Ireland the village of Bradox was picked.
Now our O'Brady is a stout girl and our "Team Captain" of Shadow Run Whippets and an outstanding mother bred for racing the oval and straights.
She has earned the title of OTRM5 and top ten OTR whippet in the USA.
She also has produced two large litters, first on in 2010, 12 pups all Blue, Blue/White & Black, Black/white. Second and last litter 2013 with 7 pups all black, black/white or Blue or Blue/white.
Seems like she likes the blues.
The pups we sold are all residing in the USA or Canada.
When O'Brady enters an event she makes quite an impression with her build, she's a buff bitch.
Now O'Brady is retiring and just racing for fun and being a lazy member of the Shadow Run family. She has earned it.

What can I say about our little whippet Nosy Parker (Parker for short) so named because he always had his head in the fridge or dish washer (you never know what a human could have left behind).
Sadly for us Parker passed away on the 3rd December 2012.
We will always miss him.

Here's another picture of Tigger with the fabulous collar he won from "thewhippet.net" photo contest. People notice it all the time.
He's very proud wearing it!
