Buffalo Bill came to us two months ago - at the end of January 2010.
Surrounded by poodles (my parents have one and my boyfriend's mom two) I had no idea what is a whippet.
I wanted a small dog and my boyfriend a big one. The compromise was something in the middle. Therefore, when I saw an ad about whippet puppies in my boyfriend's town we went to have a look.
It was not love on the first sight, the puppies looked just like a little bit bigger rats. But he was special with his color and looked like a "mut" although his family tree is great. After few days of thinking we decided to take him.
At the beginning I was just wondering what we got. His behavior was a mystery for me because it was different from poodle's.
During the two months I get to know him. He is amazing - so fast, so funny and so loving. He makes me smile and I like the feeling when he is sleeping in my lap. It was not love for the first sight but it is love for all my life.
