My whippet Drake is the best thing that ever happen to me, of course beside my husband and my family.
We were living in London. Me and Drake were so close together.
We did everything together, I always brought him everywhere. I am so proud of him.
Last year me and my husband had to move to Indonesia (that's where I originally come from) to start our new business.
We are planning to bring Drake with us but he has to wait until we settle in.
So now Drake lives with my parents in law back in Somerset.
I feel sad and I cried almost everyday the first months we were separated, but last month I visited him and our parent for a short holiday and Drake looked really happy there so I felt much relieved.
I'm still missing him now but remembering him in the beautiful countryside makes me happy.

We bought Pippa hinting that Whippets were quiet dogs, just what we wanted.
But, after Pip settled in, this fact was so not true!
I don't care though, I LOVE her to bits!
Above is a picture of Pippa sleeping in our washing basket!

My whippet Sophie is a wonderful companion & dear friend.
In this image she posed during a walk through the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Autumn.
She is always in a pose and has been a wonderful companion now for almost 17 years.
I've had her since she was 6 weeks and knew her mother & her owner before she was born.
A picture of Sophie with her mother Bessie is precious!

Mac is doing so well in agility, I am so proud of him. I entered my first competition in April and he got his Novice title last week!
He also got a first place and a qualifying score in Rally-O and that was the first time either of us had done it.
He got a gold, silver and bronze medal over the weekend.
Well done Mac!

Bitzer Maloney is nearly three years old now, and it has been an eventful time for his owners who have never been owned by a whippet before!
Despite his many adventures, a lot of which have near on given us heart attacks, we are so glad that we chose this breed, and him in particular!
His grace and beauty encouraged me to go back to my drawing, (abandoned years ago when life got in the way!)and now I do commission portraits of peoples' dear pets and have my own website.
This is not an advert for that, just an acknowledgement of the joy that a whippet can bring to your life!

My stunningly handsome 1 year old named Hefner.
He won 4 firsts in July in New York. He is ADORABLE and loved by everyone!
We got him from a Toronto area breeder 4 weeks ago, as you can see, what a find!
