Hi there, I don't know if you'll see this, but we were Gypsy's final owners. She passed away this Tuesday, 12/15/2020 at 4:22pm EST, sunset, in our arms at the vets. She had advanced kidney disease.
As far as we were able to tell she was born in Missouri (as seen here), spent a few years in South Carolina with a breeder, and then was brought to the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts to be a companion with another whippet for an elderly gentleman. He passed unexpectedly in August 2020, we adopted her and her 'brother', Shadow (who is 5 years old), August 31. She had a lovely three and a half months with us, and we are so sad here (I'm posting this two days later 12/17/2020) that we only knew her for this short of period. We loved her dearly for her princess-like demeanor, her soft little wuffs (almost moo's), her love of cuddling under comforters, and her no nonsense sensibilities with our two other whippets and Shadow. She was the Queen and we treated her as such.
She loved to play a little, too.
We know she's basking in a grassy sunny patch, waiting patiently for her loved ones to come meet her someday.
We are so grateful we could see her as a puppy and you are welcome to reach out if you have any info as to her birth date (we think she was 12) and photos, Instagram is @ jedidiahthompson or @ sapandsteam
Thank you, and know she had a good and loving end to her sweet life. She is a Good Girl.
