You need a whippet to look at.

Like flowers, or decorated cupcakes, or a brocade pillow from India.

When a whippet arches his back and stretches his neck after a long nap, it is like watching a vintage painting come to life in your living room.

Now, I know this seems a shallow point...but in a world with much ugliness-pollution, oil spills, etc..etc..sometimes beauty for its own sake is wonderful.

God knows I don't feel the same about my own reflection anymore...
