Just curious why you would not want your whippet to be inside when you are not home, they really do quite well indoors on their own with the proper training. My whippet is as good as gold and I work 27 hours a week. I personally would not want such a breed to be left alone outside, might be fine for a hardier breed like a german shep or a lab but for a whippet......hmmmm...just not what I would do.
