Our son bought home a chihuahua mix who was 8 weeks old and looked like a purebred at the time. We named him Hank. His mother, a pure bred chihuahua, "got out one night." So we knew Hank was a mix. As time went by, Hank looked less Chihuahua and more "something else"... A long and lanky, something else. Hank is so loveable as well as rather timid. He is an extremely fast runner and even faster than our Jack Russell. He loves to cuddle, he's rather stubborn and manipulative, but grabs your heart and holds it. He loves our Goldendoodle as well as our Jack Russell and fit in right away. A family friend mentioned that Hank looked like a whippet. I started researching and I just know we found the other 1/2 of our Chihuahua mix. He looks exactly like the pictures on the net and his temperament fits the Whippet-Chihuahua mix to an absolute "tee." We adore this little guy, he's a great addition to our family! If I am looking for a dog in the future, I would definitely look for a "Chiippet."
