We have just welcomed Molly into our home a week ago & are curious as to her mix.
She is 4 months old, her previous owner seemed to believe that she is a Beagle/Harrier cross, but having owned a Whippet as a kid, we are convinced there is Whippet in there!
She has the Beagle howl, sniffs like a bloodhound, very energetic, likes to burrow, sleeps curled up & sits like a Whippet!

Sydney was rescued from a tornado in Kentucky.
I fell in love with him when I saw his pictures.
Didn't know that puppies could jump that high! He's such a loving dog.
He chews just about everything that isn't nailed down. He's also very smart. Yup, he can be stubborn.
He has a brother who was fostered at the same home.
When we met Sydney, we also met his brother - we took both home - I didn't have the heart to separate them after what they had been through.
He eats slowly, isn't too crazy about eating. A bit difficult to walk with another dog as he feels he need to go first.
Working with him to not tug while walking. If he's alone, then he does so much better.
If he gets into something and he knows he's wrong, when he's corrected, he's not too bad with not going back there.
Occasionally he does, so he needs to be re-corrected. He now knows the word "no".
Still scared by loud noises; probably after effects of the tornado and its damage.
Friendly? Absolutely! Not crazy about strangers, but once he meets them, he's sold.
Lulu is a beagle-whippet mix. She is our foster dog looking for her forever home.
She is in Kelowna BC. Find out more about Lulu at Beaglepaws.com

This year my wife deceptively allowed me to pick out a new puppy, a whippet beagle mix.
The day we picked Harlo out was different, for once I wasn't the one trying to convince her that she needed to look at a couple of the poor pups that needed a good home.
I know it breaks her heart because she's an animal lover and I'd been hoping to eventually win her over but today we had stuff to do and places to go so I didn't linger around the adoption day areas.
At first I thought that she was going to back out on it since usually she goes straight to the froo-froo type of pups on adoption day.
My wife's never been around dogs growing up so she was a little bit difficult to bring around to the idea of having a family dog. At first it was not going to ever be allowed, then it was if we did get a dog it was going to be an outside only dog, then later after that it became only a small dog would ever be allowed.
We were originally told that our newest pup was a beagle chihuahua mix, but here it is 8 months later and I've learned she's a Whippet Beagle mix.
I knew she was part beagle that I was almost 100% positive about, but the chihuahua mix part didn't make sense.
Harlo runs around in the same distinct manner a sight hound would, extremely fast for her size, and so maneuverable that if she is playing with another dog that can match her speed at the dog park she simply runs circles around it literally at top speed till she tires them out.
Harlo's also one of the best dogs our family has ever had and we've had quite a few ranging from a chihuahua to a wolf hybrid.
If I had to compare her to all the dogs we've ever had only two come close would be my dads wolf hybrid that passed away a few years ago and the Australian Cattle Dog my mom currently has.
I used to steal both of them away for treks back into the mountains for days at a time and they both loved it and I think because of this I was their favorite human.
Now I'm a little older and don't have the time to do things like that any more so I think Harlo may miss out on over night mountain biking treks but she sure loves to go geocaching and camping with me and my wife.

Misty Blue was sold to us as a blue beagle.
We are sure she is a whippet x beagle ("Whiggle"} and we love her. The whippet temperament is a bonus.

Ladybird is the most loving dog.
She is very energetic, loves to play dance and run around in circles.
She would never hurt a fly and loves every buddy she meets.
She goes with me everywhere I go. She is a Whippet/Beagle mix.
